The Department of Transportation (DOT) is replacing the innermost Manhattan-bound vehicular lane on the Brooklyn Bridge with a two-way protected bike lane.

Starting on June 21, 2021, right turns from westbound Tillary Street onto the Brooklyn Bridge will no longer be permitted.

Construction is expected to be completed by early fall.
