    The New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) No-Penalty Boiler Inspection Program for this year has ended.

    Boilers must be registered with the City and an annual boiler inspection is required for: 

    • Residential buildings with 6 or more units
    • Residential buildings classified as Single Room Occupancy (SRO)
    • Commercial or mixed-use buildings
