To celebrate America's 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, the largest fleet of the world's tall ships and gray hull ships will sail into New York Harbor and salute the Statue of Liberty. More than 30 tall ships from around the world will sail up the Hudson River from the Verrazzano Bridge to the George Washington Bridge from 9:30 AM to 2 PM
Events include the Grand Review at Governors Island on July 4th and Tall Ship Tours throughout the city from July 5 through July 7.

Street Closures
On July 4, the West Side Highway and Henry Hudson Parkway will remain open but will be subject to closures if necessary, throughout the day south of 59th Street. Even when open, there will be no commercial vehicles allowed south of 59th Street. Vehicles should avoid the West Side Highway on Saturday.
Screening and Prohibited Items
People coming to view the parade at both ticketed and non-ticketed events will be subject to screening and will have their bags checked.
